Overview

BookFinder.com is a one-stop ecommerce search engine that searches over 150 million books for sale—new, used, rare, out-of-print, and textbooks. We save book lovers time and money by searching every major catalog online, and letting them know which booksellers are offering the best prices and selection. Users can compare prices and buy the books they like directly from the original seller; we never charge a markup.

The BookFinder.com site is part of the BookFinder.com/JustBooks network of book search engines. Since our launch in 1997, our comparison shopping engine has been the first stop for millions of online shoppers. We have been recommended in the pages of a wide array of publications, from the New York Times Book Review to the Wall Street Journal, The Guardian to Vogue Japan. Both Newsweek and Money rated us as their favorite online book shopping site (tied with Amazon.com in both cases).

The BookFinder.com/JustBooks network is produced by a micro-multinational team of voracious bibliophiles based in Berkeley (California, USA), Victoria (Canada) and Düsseldorf (Germany). Our mission: making it incredibly simple for fellow readers to find and purchase the books they're looking for, be they signed first editions or used paperbacks, out-of-print rarities or the latest bestsellers.

We launched BookFinder.com in 1997, expanded to new books in 1999, added multilingual searches in 2001, and started releasing the BookFinder.com Report in 2003. In 2006, we offered support for global postpaid price comparisons, and introduced the JustBooks network of European book search engines.
