This is followed by a small drawing of a butterfly in blue ink (about a half inch wide). Onya was Sophie Nabokov, a first cousin to Vladimir Nabokov, born also in 1899. Nabokov writes of Sophie in "Speak, Memory". VN is recalling an outing as a small boy, "The thing around my wrist, looking like a... (NOISBN LITERATURE FICTION)
