The history of this book's printing is extremely complicated - the most recent research by McEachern indicates that the first edition was published the same year in Paris by Duchesne, but with the imprint "Amsterdam, J. Néaulme". That edition was almost immediately banned on 9.6.1762, and some time afterwards...
