ABOUT THIS SERIES -- This is one volume in a series of reprints of significant and obscure books about and/or by Italian Americans. These books date from 1903 to the 1970's. They were released by Arno Press/Ayers. All of them are nicely-printed, offset facsimile reprints with sewn bindings bound in green linen with red details. They were all released without dustjackets. The series is titled The Italian American Experience. There are 38 books in the series. In a few instances, the books are compilations of articles or ephemera assembled for the first time in book form. Titles include Michael John Parenti's 1962 Ethnic and Political Attitudes: A Depth Study of Italian Americans, The Italians of Newark: A Community Study (1942), a compilation volume titled Italians in the City: Health and Related Social Needs, Rose's 1922 The Italians in America, Stella's 1924 Some Aspects of Italian Immigration to the United States, and Italians in the United States: A Repository of Rare Tracts and Miscellanea.
