From page 75, About the Poet: "Jonathan Stull was born in Evanston, Illinois and grew up in Arlington Heights. He spent his summers on Big Cedar Lake near the town of West Bend, Wisconsin. The lakeside home has been in his family for seventy years, and has inspired much of the natural imagery in these poems. He earned his B.A. degree from Upper Iowa University, and his M.F.A. degree from the University of Northern Iowa. He has taught Creative Writing at the University of Northern Iowa, Upper Iowa University and the University of Iowa. Jonathan Stull lives in Cedar Falls, Iowa with his wife Penny and son Dylan. He teaches concurrently at East Waterloo High School, and The University of Northern Iowa where he is currently a member of the Graduate Faculty in Creative Writing."
