About the book:

Percy Wyndham Lewis, 1882 - 1957, British author and painter, was an early promoter of modernism in all the arts, as well as a novelist. A key figure of the English intellectual, artistic and literary avant-garde of the first half of the twentieth century, with Ezra Pound, he was co-founder and editor of 'Blast', a Vorticist magazine. 'The Human Age' is his most important literary achievement, an apocolyptic novel and a modern rework of 'The Divine Comedy'. 'The Childermass' is the first part of the tetralogy.
